Located in the trendy Brooklyn Arts District, Edward Teach is the perfect spot to catch pirates and pints. This brewery serves up both ales and lagers in a 100-year-old firehouse building; the first level bar is shaped like a pirate ship while the upstairs level looks like a tall ship's rigging! Not sure if you're in the right spot? Just look for Blackbeard's infamous pirate flag on the front of the building!
Kick back with friends and enjoy a wide selection of beer, wine, and cigars at The Brewer's Kettle for National Beer Day! You can buy bottles to go or drink them on-site while enjoying the covered rear patio or open front patio where dogs are always welcome. There are also stools and tables available inside of what was once a 1950s service station!
Wilmington is known for its laid-back lifestyle and ocean views, and this brewery definitely delivers on the coastal atmosphere! With numerous large TVs throughout, you can keep up with the game while you knock back a few. Did you know the Venus flytrap is native to Wilmington? Named after this famous flower, Flytrap Brewing offers a unique brewery experience in Downtown Wilmington. They serve up a variety of signature brews as well as five rotating guest taps. One of their most popular signature ales is called the Rehder's Red Ale, named after Stanley Rehder, a local horticulturist who loved Venus flytraps. This spot also showcases work from local artists and is dog-friendly! Live music is played every weekend and Catch the Food Truck swings by to dish up food Thursday through Saturday.
Front Street Brewery is Wilmington's original restaurant and brewery located in the heart of downtown. Both seasonal and flagship brews are made here including Coastal Kolsch and Riptide Raspberry Wheat. Front Street Brewery doesn't just do beer; they were named one of the Top 20 Bourbon Bars in the South by The Bourbon Review as they offer over 400 kinds of whiskey! They also offer an extensive menu of both appetizers and entrees, specializing in gourmet sandwiches. They're open late night, serving a full menu until midnight, and there's also a dog-friendly front patio for your furry friend so they can be alongside you as you celebrate National Beer Day.

Open since 2003, this bottle shop and 30-tap bar has been a local favorite for a while. They're known for bringing the best local and national brews straight to Downtown Wilmington! With a variety of games, pool tables, and patio seating, this is a great spot to bring a group of friends to drink some beers and get a little competitive!
