Bald Head Island has been designated an “Important Bird Area” by Audubon due to the incredible diversity of birds that can be found here. Join us on this guided tour as we search for many different species of birds among various island ecosystems. No previous birding experience required. Binoculars and birding field guides provided.
Meet in the Barrier Island Study Center. Personal golf cart transportation is required.

$45/person OFF-ISLAND*
*Off-island registration includes BHI Roundtrip Ferry Ticket, transportation to and from Conservancy, and BHIC golf cart use during tour. Must meet BHIC staff at 7:45 am at Deep Point Marina in Southport, NC and take 8:00 am Ferry to Bald Head Island. Any late arrivals who miss the 8 am ferry forfeit their spot on the tour.
